How to reach Turku?
You may reach Turku by air via Helsinki, Stockholm, Gdansk and Riga. From the Helsinki-Vantaa airport there is a frequent bus connection to Turku, the trip takes about 2 hours (departures every hour). If you prefer sea transportation, you may take a ferry from Stockholm through one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the world. Turku airport and harbour
Turku airport is situated 9 km and Turku harbour 4 km from the city centre. Local bus number 1 (route: Airport – Market Place – Ferry Harbour) leaves from the airport approximately every 20-30 minutes. It stops in the city centre, on the Market Place. Bus tickets can be bought from the driver, single ticket 3 € (4 € after 23 pm), valid for 2 hours. From the Market Place there is a short walk to the conference venue.

Taxis are generally easy to get. There are several taxi stands in the city centre. For a taxi ride from Turku Airport to the city centre you may expect a fare between 25-35 euros. After 8 p.m. there is a small additional charge.
